One Of India’s Oldest Hotel, Taj Connemara Reopens

Taj Connemara has reopened after a two-year-long extensive renovation and redesign.

Dating back to 1854, the Taj Connemara was founded during the colonial era and is named after Lord Connemara, the then Governor of Madras. This the Oldest Hotel in South India, located in Chennai (formerly known as Madras) which is the Capital of Tamil Nadu State of India.

The hotel is surrounded by 4.5 acres of beautifully landscaped greens and enclosed atrium gardens. The hotel also features a 24-hour fitness center, swimming pool, and spa.
