Luxury island resort Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi recently expanded its team with the addition of Rachelle Hill as Director of Marketing & Communications of the property.
Rachelle joins Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi from her most recent role as Director of Marketing & Communications at Fairmont Dubai, a position she held since August 2016. Prior to this role, she was Group Director of Marketing & Communications, overseeing both the Fairmont Dubai and the pre-opening of Fairmont Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.
Bringing along over 18 years of hospitality experience, Rachelle began her career in the Philippines before moving to the Middle East where she held various progressive positions in marketing and communications for a number of international luxury hotel chains. In her new role, Rachelle will oversee and develop the resorts marketing strategy. Her thorough technical knowledge and diverse professional background brings the necessary expertise to further strengthen Fairmont’s brand presence in the region.
