Acting Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Ibrahim Thoha has been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of the company.
In addition to Thoha, the board of MACL consists of Chairman Mohamed Umar Manik, Ibrahim Nooradheen, Ibrahim Siyad Gasim, Dr. Ali Rasheed. Ibrahim Mahfouz, Aishath Arusha and Ahmed Eman Moosa. No CEO has been appointed to the company yet.
Ibrahim Thoha, the Deputy Chief Officer of MACL, was appointed as the Acting MD on 10th November 2021. He was appointed to the post after Gordon Andrew Stewart, a British national who was the Managing Director and CEO of the company, was dismissed from his post for failing to show satisfactory results.
Thoha, who is now appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of MACL, has worked in the company for more than 35 years.
