Statistics publicised by the Tourism Ministry in their latest tourism bulletin show that a total of 25 airlines are currently operating flights to the Maldives. This includes 21 airlines operating scheduled flights, and four airlines that operate chartered flights.
According to the bulletin, 7 airlines out of the 25 airlines operating to Maldives are European airlines. In this regard, Aeroflot, Edelweiss, Neos, Eurowings Discover and Turkish Airlines operate scheduled flights to the Maldives, while Air Astana and Lot Polish Airlines operate chartered flights to the country.
Furthermore, six airlines to the Maldives are Middle Eastern Airlines. They are Emirates, Etihad, Fly Dubai, Gulf Air, Qatar Airways and Saudia, all of which operate scheduled flights to the Maldives.
Three airlines from India operate flights to the Maldives. Air India and Indigo operated scheduled flights, while Air Vistara operates chartered flights to the Maldives.
Additional airlines operating scheduled flights to the Maldives include Air Asia, Air Asia Thailand, Air Seychelles, Bangkok Airways, Singapore Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines and Maldivian. Lastly, US-Bangla Airlines operates chartered flights to the Maldives.
