Charles Yap has been appointed as the Vice President – Marketing & Communications at ONYX Hospitality Group.
He was promoted to the position while he was serving as the Senior Director – Communications at the Bangkok-based company.
With an extensive background in public relations, corporate communications and social media, Charles has served for premium brands including Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, InterContinental Hotels Group and CNBC.
ONYX Hospitality Group is one of the fastest growing hospitality players in the Asia Pacific region, and the company behind hotel brands like Amari, OZO and Shama. Growing from one hotel in Thailand to almost 50 hotels across 8 countries, the company has a robust pipeline of close to 30 hotels across the region.
