Piumi Gamanayake Appointed Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications at CROSSROADS Maldives

CROSSROADS Maldives, the Indian Ocean’s premier multi-island, integrated leisure destination, comprising of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, SAii Lagoon Maldives – Curio Collection by Hilton, and The Marina at Crossroads, has announced the appointment of Piumi Gamanayake as the Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications.

Piumi Gamanyake is an experienced marketing professional with over a decade of exposure in Marketing & Communications in the hospitality and tourism sector. Piumi’s career transitioned from global advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett and Sarva Integrated to the Maldives hospitality industry where she previously worked with Viluxur Maldives and Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives as the marketing and communications manager. Piumi pursued her academic journey at the University of London, where she earned her Bachelor of Economics, and later, at Monash University in Australia, where she achieved her Master’s degree in International Sustainable Tourism Management. Piumi is also a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and the Australian Marketing Institute.
