Alila Kothaifaru Maldives welcomed Dwi Kumalasari to its leadership team as Director of Sales & Marketing. Hailing from Surabaya, Indonesia, Dwi brings with her nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and a career path spanning Indonesia, Malaysia, and the UAE. From foundational roles in Food and Beverage, Dwi transitioned to coordinating and managing events, which ignited her passion for more challenging roles in the field of Sales and Marketing, where she has proven her mettle.
Along the journey, Dwi has built a track record of expertise at numerous esteemed luxury properties, including Banyan Tree Bintan, Banyan Tree Ungasan Bali, Intercontinental Bali, Four Points by Sheraton Bali Kuta and Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran. Dwi is also no stranger to Hyatt and the Alila brand, having served as Director of Sales at Alila Hotels & Resorts Bali and, most recently, as Director of Sales & Marketing at Andaz Bali.
Returning to the Alila family with a deep understanding of the luxury lifestyle brand, Dwi looks forward to an exciting new chapter in the Maldives, where she will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and strengthen the resort’s global presence.
