The Maldives to be one of the sponsorship partners of La Liga Club, RC Celta.
Under the partnership, the official tourism brand of Maldives’s ‘Visit Maldives’ logo to be printed on Celta de Vigo jerseys, stadium, practice kit, and boards. In addition to this, Celta de Vigo will also provide assistance and support to develop the Maldives Football.
Two kids from the Maldives has also been granted the opportunity to train at Celta de Vigo’s Academy. These kids were selected by former Real Madrid and Spanish Defender Míchel Salgado during the Tourism Day celebratory Kids Football Fiesta that took place on 2nd October. The two boys were from Ghaazee School, Aiham Ibrahim and Hussain Aaish who played key roles to clinch Champions of Kids Football Fiesta for Ghaazee School team.
