This July 2024, Diamonds Thudufushi had the honour of hosting the Harvard Krokodiloes during their world tour from 4-6 July. Known for their captivating performances and rich musical heritage, the Krokodiloes brought their signature a cappella magic to the pristine beaches of the Maldives.
The highlight of their visit was the creation of their very first music video in collaboration with Diamonds Thudufushi. Filming with the breathtaking backdrop of white water villas and the blue lagoon, the project beautifully captured the essence of the Maldives, blending the natural beauty of the islands with the Kroks’ harmonious melodies.
Guests at both Diamonds Thudufushi and Diamonds Athuruga were treated to exclusive performances by the Krokodiloes, who showcased a diverse repertoire ranging from jazz and swing to contemporary hits. The group’s talent left a lasting impression on all who attended, making their visit a truly memorable event.
The Harvard Krokodiloes was founded in 1946 and has a long-standing tradition of excellence in a cappella singing consisting of 12 members. Over the years, they have toured internationally, performing in prestigious venues and for distinguished audiences around the world. Their commitment to musical artistry and entertainment has made them ambassadors of Harvard University’s rich cultural heritage. This year’s tour includes performances in the following locations:
