Kuramathi Maldives Celebrates 11-Year-Old Ethan Evans for Setting New World Record in Scuba Diving

Rasdhoo Divers at Kuramathi Maldives has announced a remarkable achievement by 11-year-old Ethan Evans, who has set a new world record for the most scuba dives completed before the age of twelve. The breathtaking surroundings of Kuramathi Maldives has provided the perfect setting for Ethan’s diving journey, where he has surpassed the previous record of 102 dives and now aims for 150.

Ethan, hailing from Warden Villages, was inspired by his father, Paul Evans, a dedicated ocean conservationist. With the stunning backdrop of Kuramathi’s crystal-clear waters, Ethan earned his open water certification at just ten years old and spent six weeks diving in this tropical paradise, averaging two to three dives each day. His ability to confidently interact with manta rays and sharks has been nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing the vibrant marine life that Kuramathi Maldives is renowned for.

Beyond setting records, Ethan is committed to ocean conservation, actively participating in cleanup dives with his father to address sea pollution.
