MMPRC, in collaboration with Island LifeTravel, hosted the inaugural Maldives Diwali Carnival in India. This significant milestone aims to strengthen the relationship between the Maldives and India. Bringing together over 500 industry professionals from all over India, the event highlighted the Maldives’ significance as a preferred destination for Indian travellers.
The Diwali Carnival featured over 22 exquisite Maldives resorts, each showcasing their unique offerings and experiences to the valued trade partners.
Attendees enjoyed an authentic Indian food festival featuring a delightful selection of traditional dishes, complemented by enchanting Sufi live music followed by a DJ that filled the atmosphere with festive spirit. The carnival embraced a family-friendly vibe, allowing attendees to enjoy Diwali festivities together with friends and family in a welcoming atmosphere.
