Janice, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in commercial leadership roles in the luxury hospitality landscape, brings deep insight into what stands out about Vakkaru Maldives in this highly competitive market. Having previously contributed to Vakkaru Maldives’ success during her earlier tenure as the Director of Sales and Marketing between 2020 – 2023, her return is a testament to the strong connection and shared vision between her and the resort.
Commencing at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, her stints cover a global landscape at preeminent hotels in Beijing and Singapore but have most commonly included roles at the Maldives’ leading resorts. Her dynamic leadership and innovative approach were evident across her achievements, especially in the Maldives hospitality landscape, where she served as the Group Cluster Director of Public Relations for Anantara Resort group, Director of Sales and Marketing for Velaa Private Island, Raffles Maldives Meradhoo, Regional Director for Sales and Marketing for COMO Hotels and Resorts as well as the Commercial Director for Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi.
