Naufal Naeem is a highly experienced sales and marketing professional with over a decade of expertise in the hospitality and tourism industry. Known for his dynamic approach, Naufal has played a pivotal role in the pre-opening phases of several resorts in the Maldives, earning recognition for his strategic vision in branding, digital marketing, content development, and commercial growth.
Over the course of his career, Naufal has held key leadership positions, including Director of Sales at Nova Maldives and Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing at Kandima Maldives. In these roles, he was responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drove revenue growth, elevated brand presence, and positioned the resorts as market leaders. His innovative approach to digital marketing and strategic partnerships has been integral to his success in both regional and international markets.
Before joining Noku Maldives, Naufal had a distinguished career at Nova Maldives as Director of Sales and at Kandima Maldives as Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing. In both roles, he played a pivotal role in shaping and executing forward-thinking strategies that significantly boosted revenue and market penetration. His leadership was instrumental in expanding the resorts’ visibility, reaching new customer segments, and increasing their market share in an increasingly competitive market. Naufal holds a Master’s degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management from James Cook University, Singapore, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management from Taylor’s University, Malaysia. His broad experience across the hospitality sector and his strategic vision will be key in steering Noku Maldives towards new commercial milestones.
Hassoon Abdul Wahidh, a rising professional in the hospitality sales industry, has been appointed as Sales Manager at Noku Maldives. With over seven years of experience in driving revenue growth and, developing strong client relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams, Hassoon is well-equipped to take on this critical role. With a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs, Hassoon excels at creating strategic sales plans that deliver measurable results. Known for his strong leadership skills, Hassoon has successfully mentored and motivated teams to exceed sales targets.
Throughout his career, Hassoon has gained extensive experience across several properties, including Huvafenfushi Maldives and the five resorts within the Sun Siyam Resorts portfolio. In his most recent role as Sales Manager at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi and Siyam World, he built a strong reputation for his ability to identify new business opportunities, develop and execute effective sales strategies, and cultivate long-lasting relationships with key partners and clients. His strategic approach and exceptional leadership have consistently driven growth and contributed to the success of the resorts he has worked with.
Passionate about fostering a collaborative, growth-driven environment, Hassoon holds an Associate Degree from Thames College, Sri Lanka, and completed his O-Levels and A-Levels in his home island, Dh. Meedhoo, Maldives.
