The current suspension of all Etihad Airways scheduled passenger services to and from the UAE has been extended until 21 April 2020. The decision has been made as part of continuing efforts to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, and remains subject to further review.
Etihad Airways, however, continue to operate a number of daily outbound flights to help foreign citizens in the UAE return home.
The airline’s repatriation flights will start with Seoul Incheon, followed by destinations such as Melbourne, Singapore, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta and Amsterdam. These destinations are subject to government approvals.

These flights have been approved by the UAE Government, and the airline is working closely with authorities to continue these types of operations. Etihad Airways said in a statement that their aim is to increase the number of flights, subject to approval from other foreign governments.
When approved, these flights can be booked through the GDS.
“We continue to follow UAE and international government and regulatory authority directives and are applying a contingency plan to assist affected customers. We will announce the resumption of services through our usual channels once restrictions are lifted,” the statement read.
