Air India has launched daily direct flights from Mumbai and Delhi to the Maldives, further enhancing connectivity between the two countries.
The new direct flights from both cities to Malé are set to enhance accessibility, reducing travel time and eliminating layovers. This development will make it easier for tourists to enjoy a quick getaway or an extended stay in the Maldives, giving a chance to explore its beautiful lagoons, vibrant marine life, and world-class hospitality.
Indian tourist arrivals to the Maldives have reached 117,292, and the destination has long been a favourite for Indian vacationers. The addition of these direct flights is expected to further strengthen the flow of visitors. Beyond leisure tourism, the improved connectivity is also expected to encourage business travel, fostering greater collaboration between India and the Maldives.
