Alila Kothaifaru Maldives announces the graduation of its latest cohort of interns who have successfully completed the hands-on RiseHY by Hyatt program. This worldwide initiative is designed to give young people, anywhere in the world, a glimpse of what it’s like to work in various functions within a hotel – enabling people, whatever their background, to visualise themselves in fulfilling hospitality careers.
Alila Kothaifaru offered them valuable experiences in a sustainable, luxury resort environment. In a ceremony attended by resort management and staff, the resort celebrated the achievements of these rising stars, who have spent several months learning basic skills across various departments.
As part of Alila Kothaifaru’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and excellence in hospitality, the internship program offers participants the opportunity to gain experience in various departments, including guest services, culinary arts, wellness and environmental sustainability. The program is integral to the resort’s mission of providing exceptional service while promoting responsible tourism and creating opportunities for young professionals.

The resort held a ceremony to honour the interns, presenting them with certificates of completion as a token of recognition for their hard work.
