Maldives Association of Tourism Professional (ATP)’s board members Mr. Fraath Mohamed and Mr. Ahmed Nasir met with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Maldives, His Excellency Rear Admiral Akhtar Habib, NGP, ndc, ncc, psc, BN. The highlight of the meeting was promoting Maldives as a brand destination, encouraging and promoting a more sustainable tourism industry in Maldives.
During the meeting, they discussed about the nationals of Bangladesh working in the tourism industry of Maldives, as a major portion among all the foreign workers in the Maldives are from Bangladesh. They also discussed on how to bring together industry professionals under one organized body and educate professionals within the industry to create a conducive atmosphere for the betterment of the industry.
ATP Maldives is a network of, tourism professionals of various principles, and for, qualifying members of the tourism industry of Maldives. Its objectives is to define the industry, as well as educate professionals within the industry with a major focus on destination marketing.
