Ibrahim Mukhthar has been appointed as the new Executive Housekeeper at Kurumba Maldives.
Originally from the Maldives, Mukhthar has over 23 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career as a Pastry Chef at Vilamendhoo Island Resort. After a year later, he gave another challenge to his career-changing to Housekeeping Department as a Room Attendant at Club Rannalhi.
Since then he accepted every single challenge that he has come across along the way of his career and developed himself, moving forward from a Room Attendant to a Senior Room Attendant and to a Housekeeping Supervisor at Club Rannalhi and then to an Executive Housekeeper in 2004 at Bathala Island Resort.
Mukhthar has demonstrated efficient leadership and people management skills with strong experience in managing multi-national teams. Throughout this successful career, he has worked with both local and Global Brands such as One and Only Reethi Rah Maldives, Hilton, Coco Collection, Bandos Island Resort, Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort, Per AQUUM Niyama, and Kandima Maldives.
Recently Mulhthar has completed MBA from the acclaimed FTMS College, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, affiliated by Anglia Ruskin University, UK and Joined Kurumba Maldives as an Executive Housekeeper.
