India’s low-cost airline, IndiGo will be operating Two flights from Male’ to Cochin on 11th August 2019. These are the special flight arrangements only for 11th August 2019, to cater for the passengers who were unable to fly due to the flight cancellations on 9th & 10th August 2019.
According to the airline, the additional flights are arranged to replace the flight cancellations on 9th & 10th August 2019, due the heavy flood in Cochin India which makes the Cochin Airport to stop their flight operations in those two days.
The first flight is scheduled to depart from Male’ to Cochin at 11:30 hrs and the second flight is scheduled to depart from Male’ to Cochin at 17:15 hrs on 11th August 2019.
Indigo start to operate its services to Maldives on 15th November 2018. The airline is currently operating daily non-stop flights between Male-Kochi, five weekly services from Mumbai and two weekly flights from Bengaluru.
Founded in 2005, IndiGo airline is the largest airline operator in India by passengers carried and fleet size with a 48.1% domestic market share as of June 2019. The airline operates flights to 66 destinations – 51 domestic and 15 international including Maldives, Oman, Turkey, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Myanmar.
