As of 1st January 2025, the former Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives has officially rebranded to Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa, operating as a white-label resort under the trusted Accor brand. This transition marks the start of an exciting new phase, with plans for a full relaunch by the end of 2025 as part of Accor’s Luxury Lifestyle portfolio. While the resort temporarily adopts the name Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa during this transition, it remains committed to delivering exceptional experiences under the same ownership, management, and dedicated team.
The resort is undergoing a comprehensive enhancement project, which includes upgrades to all beach villas, residences, restaurants, the arrival jetty, and public spaces. Water villa upgrades will follow during the low season of 2026. The focus is on refreshing interiors and aesthetics to create a modern luxury and lifestyle ambiance aligned with the new brand identity. Stanislaw Pajdzinski, General Manager of Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa, emphasised, “This rebranding signifies more than a simple change in name; it marks the evolution of our identity and reinforces our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional and personalised experiences.”
Guests can rest assured that the transition will be seamless, with no disruptive structural work or noise during their stays. Existing and future bookings will remain unaffected, with no changes to rates, inclusions, or terms within the contractual period. Accor Live Limitless and Accor Plus members will also continue to enjoy their exclusive benefits throughout the transition.
The rebranding reflects the resort’s dedication to continuous growth and excellence, aiming to enhance the quality of its offerings and provide unparalleled experiences for both repeat guests and future visitors. This transformation promises to elevate the resort’s position as a leading luxury destination in the Maldives, blending modern sophistication with the timeless charm that guests have come to cherish.
