Marriott International Resorts in the Maldives hosted the annual Global Customer Appreciation Week for 2023.
From November 6 to 10, 2023, the Maldives’ seven luxurious Marriott International resorts organised various activities to express appreciation during the annual Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW). This cultural pillar across all Marriott-branded hotels centred around this year’s theme, “Where Can We Take You!” – a testament to the brand’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for its cherished customers.
During this momentous week, which emphasises the significance of celebrating customers, the resorts, including The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands; The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort; JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa; W Maldives; Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa; Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa; and The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, seized the opportunity to connect with their valued clients in Male.
The engagement featured live virtual site tours, immersing customers into each resort’s captivating beauty and unique offerings. Additionally, a two-day on-site visit to local Destination Management Companies (DMCs) in Male allowed for direct interactions and strengthened relationships.
The week culminated on Wednesday, Nov. 8th, when the #GCAW2023- Marriott International’s Global Customer Appreciation Dinner was held. The event was graced by numerous wholesale partners based in the Maldives, creating a platform for meaningful connections and expressions of gratitude. All seven resorts in the Maldives were well-represented, demonstrating the unity and collaborative spirit within the Marriott family.
