Guests can join Chef Moosa and his talented team to explore the flavours of Maldivian cuisine. Whether you join a scheduled cooking class to whip up simple “short eats” for an afternoon snack or book a private session to intricate spice blends for a full lunch spread, it’s a delightful experience that brings the local cuisine to life.

Heart of the House Tour 

Curious guests can take a behind-the-scenes tour to uncover how the island generates power and sources water, offering a fascinating glimpse into the daily lives of its residents. Along the way, they can visit the fresh herb gardens, chicken farm, and even a mushroom farm, gaining a deeper connection to the island’s sustainable practices and its vibrant community at JA Manafaru Maldives.

Maldives History Museum

JA Manafaru features historical artefacts and royal antiquities in the Utheemu gallery. Guests can explore the historical Utheemu Island, the birthplace of Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanu, a revered Maldivian hero. The tour includes visiting the traditional palace and mosque while enjoying light refreshments and discovering the beauty of Ihavandhoo’s coral stone mosque, completed in 1701.
